The Roivenue Mission

​Marketing is a never-ending adventure, with constant room for improvement. Creative and intuitive marketers have skills we can’t replace. Our mission is to augment those skills and allow for truly effective marketing, with valuable data insights. Nothing can replace your gut instincts, but clear and precise data can make those instincts sharper.

When marketing directors of big brands and agencies like Orange, Red Media, and Heureka want to squeeze better ROI out of their marketing mix, they come to us - sometimes as the place of last resort. It's both an exciting challenge and a big commitment at the same time.
We're data-driven, but we don't believe that marketers have to be like us to take advantage of the data available to them. Planning marketing resources based on ROI should be easy. With us, it really is.

How did I join Roivenue? Funny story, actually. While working as a CBDO at a digital agency, I always wanted to help our clients make a paradigm shift in how they approached marketing, but I never had the tool to do it. That sucked. Then I saw an early version of Roivenue, fell in love, and joined the team. Now I have the tool, the company, and most of all have the chance to help marketers perform better at scale. I'm not gonna let that chance slip away - you can count on that.

For a decade, I'd been applying data-mining algorithms to automate marketing programs for Monster and other big companies in the U.S. All that time, one thing was constantly running through my mind: wouldn't it be great if there were a way to solve such problems for many companies at scale? After I left the corporate world and found a co-founder, we started working on this mission. It took us four years of development to finally have the answer. We called it Roivenue.

​When anybody wants to know how anything inside Roivenue works, they come to my desk and ask me to draw a diagram for them. I guess that's the curse of being a CTO 🙂. But seriously, after having worked on monster software projects for monster corporations for more than a decade, I could utilize all that know-how and built the best performing and cost effective stack of technologies for ETL, databases, hosting, cloud computing, big data analytics, and everything else that goes into running attribution in Roivenue.
Recently, I found a new sanctuary for the moments when I am tired with the codebase. Thanks to my MBA title I was able to take over financial management of our start-up ensuring we have a clear view of the burn so that we don't burn what we worked so hard to scramble together.

Data Science Developer

I have worked as a back-end developer on different projects throughout my career. But, having studied cybernetics and AI, only with Roivenue do I finally feel like I found the best match for my interests and skills as I take care of all things attribution. I have been developing Roivenue from its very early stages, and seeing the product grow from prototype phase to maturity has been very rewarding. Almost as much as going to metal festivals. :)

Front-end Developer 

I come from Holland, have roots in Slovakia, and lived in Belgium - yet I don't do drugs nor drink alcohol. I do card tricks instead. When you want to pull off a good trick, you need to a) capture the attention of the audience, b) make them stick and examine the possibilities, c) amuse them with the results. Basically, I try to do the same with Roivenue application. I get irritated when a page has no defined (or clear for that matter) purpose and I try to fix as many usability issues I can find. So that I can get the same facial expression I am used to see with card trick observers on the face of our clients.

Business Inteligence Developer 

A difficult task can represent a problem or a challenge. We have no problems at Roivenue but a hell of a lot of challenges. The biggest one? Not just analyzing big data, do business intelligence, integrate data, build ETL engines, and assemble data warehouses... but finding in the data the biggest added value for our clients.
 
I came to Roivenue with almost no developer experience and now I am working as a BI and ETL developer for clients like Renault, Fiat Group, and the Mall Group, with colleagues who are true leaders in the field with decades of experience. It's a never-ending ride of rapid learning on ever more challenging projects.

I have an engineering degree in IT as well as a masters degree in math education, so I can develop web applications for you in various languages and technologies, implement any measurement into any platform, while at the same time managing projects and doing MarTech consulting for our largest clients.

Since my studies I wanted to become proficient in both the technical and business areas, in order to allow myself to create a bridge between the two. In my work I often enable both sides with better communication and understanding which leads to completing projects easily.

I worked 4 years as a Data Analyst in various digital agencies and at the moment I am in charge of Business Intelligence projects – I am finding answers and solutions to fulfil our clients' needs, mostly with the use of their data. We became fascinated by the idea of bringing insights to our clients that will make difference in their marketing decisions.
